Governor Joe Lombardo has declared a two-hour delay for state government offices in Carson, Douglas, Storey, and Washoe counties because of severe weather, including heavy snowfall and high winds leading to dangerous driving conditions. This decision was made after reports from the Nevada Department of Transportation and the Department of Public Safety concerning adverse road conditions. As a result, state offices in the affected areas will open at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
