Everglades wildfires cause smoke over South Florida
Two significant wildfires are currently burning in the Everglades, sending plumes of smoke across South Florida and impacting air quality. The Mile Marker 39 fire and the Sawgrass Fire, both located in Broward County, have collectively consumed over 20,000 acres. As of now, containment remains at 0%, posing ongoing challenges for fire management efforts.
