The Lee Fire, burning in Rio Blanco County near Meeker, has expanded significantly, prompting increased concern and resource allocation. In addition to the Lee Fire, separate fires in Archuleta and Moffat counties have forced evacuations in several Western Slope communities, impacting numerous residents and straining local resources.
