A 12-state warning has been issued due to dangerous water conditions along the Atlantic coast. Tropical Storm Dexter, the fourth named storm of the season, is currently churning east-northeast over the Atlantic Ocean. While Dexter is not expected to make direct landfall, it is generating hazardous rip currents and rough surf from Florida all the way up to Massachusetts throughout the week.
