High winds, low humidity, thunderstorms, and heatwave
The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for Los Angeles areas from Wednesday 9 a.m. to Saturday 9 p.m., citing high winds, low humidity and thunderstorms, and a major heatwave. With California wildfires already above normal this summer, extreme fire behavior and rapid growth are possible. Residents in mountains, foothills, and valleys should remain alert and report any new ignitions immediately.
