A tropical wave emerging off the coast of Africa is currently being monitored for potential development into a named storm. According to the National Hurricane Center, there is a 30% chance that this tropical wave could form into a tropical cyclone within the next seven days as it tracks westward across the Atlantic Ocean. If this system develops, it would be named Gabrielle, marking the seventh named storm of the Atlantic hurricane season.
