Stormy weather pattern brings flood potential
A stormy Wednesday and Thursday are on the horizon, bringing the potential for flood threats across a large portion of the United States. Widely scattered thunderstorms are anticipated from the eastern to south-central regions as a cold front gradually moves southward. On Wednesday, the forecast includes storms stretching from southern New England, southwest through the Mid-Atlantic, the Appalachians, the Tennessee and Lower Mississippi Valleys, and into the southern Plains.
