Erin's track could influence Georgia's coastline
Tropical Storm Erin is currently churning in the central Atlantic, and while it poses no immediate threat to Georgia, its future track could influence conditions along the state's coastline. As of Tuesday morning, Erin's maximum sustained winds were around 45 mph, and it was moving westward at approximately 20 knots. Despite a defined low-level circulation, limited thunderstorm activity has prevented rapid strengthening.
