As summer nears its end, some regions of the United States are preparing for an early transition to fall. According to the Climate Prediction Center, the Midwest and Northeast could experience below-normal temperatures from August 24–28. This means residents in states like Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa might need to swap out their shorts for sweaters sooner than expected.
