Residents in parts of Southern California are under evacuation orders as the rapidly spreading Gifford Fire continues to rage across Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties. The fire, which began on Friday along Highway 166 near Cayama, has consumed 49,761 acres and is only 3% contained as of Sunday evening.
