Wildfires intensify, threatening states across US
Wildfires across the United States are intensifying, posing a significant threat to numerous states. Regions beyond traditional forest areas are increasingly vulnerable due to a combination of hotter, drier conditions and expanding urban development. Currently, thirteen states are facing heightened wildfire risks: California, Oregon, Colorado, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, Wyoming, Utah, and New Mexico.
