NC fire crews support coastal communities
As Hurricane Erin approaches, fire crews from across North Carolina, including teams from Greensboro, Asheville, and West Buncombe, have mobilized to support coastal communities. Firefighters from Greensboro have already begun their work on Ocracoke Island, distributing essential supplies and assisting local first responders. The collaborative effort aims to bolster the capabilities of coastal fire departments, not to replace them, ensuring a robust response to any emergencies that may arise.
