East Coast faces dangerous surf conditions
The East Coast is currently experiencing life-threatening surf conditions due to the effects of Hurricane Erin. As of this morning, Hurricane Erin is located northeast of the Bahamas and is forecast to track north and then northeastward off the East Coast over the next few days. Although the center of the storm will remain offshore, its expanding circulation and outer bands are expected to impact portions of the East Coast, particularly the North Carolina Outer Banks.
