The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued heavy snow warnings across several western U.S. states, predicting significant snow accumulations. Alaska's Upper Tanana Valley and eastern Alaska Range are expected to receive substantial snowfall, coupled with winds reaching 35 mph. Oregon's eastern slopes of the Cascades could see up to 15 inches of snow, while Washington's Cascades might experience up to 20 inches, potentially impacting transportation and causing school closures.
