A G1-level geomagnetic storm may bring a rare display of the Northern Lights across 15 northern U.S. states tonight. According to NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center, fast-moving solar wind could push auroras farther south than usual. Peak viewing times are expected between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. local time.
