Large waves expected along Central California coast
The National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazards Statement for the Central California coast, stretching from Sonoma County down to Monterey Bay. A powerful northwesterly swell is expected to bring massive waves to the region starting Saturday morning and lasting through early Tuesday. Waves are predicted to be in the 12–17 foot range, with some potentially reaching 20 feet.
