Cool Thursday gives way to Spring-like weekend
Maryland is currently experiencing a cool Thursday as a cold front passes through the region, causing temperatures to remain lower than usual for this time of year. Meteorologist Steve Sosna from WJZ-TV reports that residents can expect partly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the mid-50s, with evening lows dropping into the upper 30s. This cool weather is a temporary setback as the state anticipates the arrival of spring on Friday. As the cold front moves eastward, a high-pressure system is expected to build in, bringing sunny skies and gradually warming temperatures. By the weekend, temperatures are forecast to climb back into the 60s, offering a more pleasant, spring-like atmosphere.
