Arctic air brings extreme cold to tri-state
An Extreme Cold Warning has been issued for parts of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut as an arctic air mass descends upon the tri-state area. The National Weather Service has alerted residents to expect dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills well below zero. The warning is in effect from early Saturday through Sunday afternoon, specifically from 10 a.m. Saturday to 1 p.m. Sunday for New York City, the Lower Hudson Valley, and northeast New Jersey.
