UK forms commission for extreme heat risks
The United Kingdom has established an independent commission to address the escalating risks associated with extreme heat. Chaired by Emma Howard Boyd and based at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics, the commission will operate independently of the UK Government.
