Falcon 9 launch from Cape Canaveral
SpaceX is preparing for the launch of its Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station as part of the Starlink 10-40 mission. The launch is scheduled for 5:52 a.m. ET on March 4, 2026. According to the National Weather Service, the weather conditions at the time of launch are expected to be partly cloudy with a low temperature around 64°F (18°C) and an east wind blowing at 5 to 10 mph. Visibility is reported to be 10 miles, which is favorable for the launch. The Falcon 9 rocket will ascend to the northeast along the Eastern Seaboard, and the first-stage booster will land on the SpaceX drone ship 'A Shortfall of Gravitas' in the Atlantic Ocean.
