Record March temperatures soar in western US
A significant heat wave is currently impacting the western United States, resulting in unprecedented March temperatures. Fort Collins, Colorado, reached a record high of 91°F (33°C), while Denver also set a new March record at 86°F (30°C). The heat wave, intensified by a heat dome, is causing temperatures to soar 20 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit above average in the region.
