Residents in southern Oklahoma experienced a tense weather situation recently when a funnel cloud was sighted over Devol. This sighting led to an immediate tornado watch being issued for the area, although thankfully, a tornado did not materialize. The storm system, however, brought with it a barrage of large hail and strong winds, causing damage in some locations.
