Central Park recorded approximately one foot of snow, setting a new record for snowfall on this particular day. This has led to the cancellation of around 1,300 flights across the city’s major airports, including John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Newark Liberty International Airport, and LaGuardia Airport. Each of these airports has seen roughly 44-45% of their departures canceled, leaving thousands of travelers stranded and scrambling for alternative arrangements.
