A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck northwestern Venezuela, near Mene Grande, on Wednesday, shaking several states and parts of Colombia. The shallow quake, centered near Lake Maracaibo, triggered evacuations, though no immediate damage was reported. According to reports, the epicenter was located 15 miles east-northeast of Mene Grande in Zulia state, at a depth of 5 miles.
