Winter weather threatens holiday travel in Northeast
Another round of snow and ice is targeting the Northeast during the holidays, promising a mix of wintry precipitation that could disrupt travel plans. As holiday travel ramps up, the region is bracing for repeated bouts of snow, rain, and ice throughout the week. A clipper system, set to arrive Monday night into Tuesday, will spread snow across New England and the Great Lakes. While areas near New York City may see lighter accumulations, parts of Upstate New York, New Hampshire, and Maine are expected to receive heavier totals, ranging from 3 to 5 inches.
