Severe thunderstorms are anticipated to impact parts of the Midwest on Thursday evening, posing risks of large hail, damaging winds, and even tornadoes. The Weather Channel reports that clusters of severe storms are expected to move southward through Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and into western Pennsylvania, developing along and south of a cold front extending from Peoria, Illinois, to Toledo, Ohio. Areas north of this front may experience heavy rain and hail, while the tornado risk is higher along and south of it.
