Tornadoes cause fatalities and widespread destruction
Severe tornadoes have devastated the Midwest and Plains regions of the United States, resulting in at least six fatalities and widespread destruction. The severe weather outbreak spanned over 1,500 miles, affecting more than 63 million people from Texas to Michigan. Michigan experienced significant damage in Union City and Three Rivers, with multiple deaths reported. Oklahoma also reported fatalities due to severe storms, including large hail and strong winds. The National Weather Service confirmed multiple tornadoes and is assessing the full extent of the damage.
