Philadelphia is bracing for severe weather as strong storms are expected to persist throughout the day. Earlier, a Tornado Watch was issued for the region by the National Weather Service, effective from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., but it was lifted at 6 p.m. However, a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 2 a.m. Tuesday, warning residents of potentially damaging wind gusts up to 80 mph. Isolated hail, approximately the size of quarters, is also a possibility.
