Rain, snow, and wind for Western US
A Pacific storm system is set to bring a mix of rain, snow, and windy conditions to a large swath of the western United States early next week. The approaching storm will bring heavy rain to lower elevations from California to Montana, while higher elevations, particularly in the Sierra Nevada, Siskiyou, and Oregon Cascades, are expected to receive significant snowfall. Some areas could see over a foot of snow, creating hazardous travel conditions.
