Bay Area sees hottest day since October
The Bay Area experienced its hottest day since last October on Sunday, with several cities recording temperatures in the 90s and even reaching 100° in San Martin. San Jose, Los Altos, and Santa Clara also saw highs in the 90s, making it a significantly warm day for the region. The unseasonably high temperatures were attributed to light offshore winds that delayed the arrival of the cooling sea breeze, allowing daytime heating to intensify.
