The Upper Ohio Valley is preparing for a weekend of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms as a frontal system moves eastward from the Central U.S. Although the potential for severe weather is limited, a few storms could bring gusty winds. Increased moisture ahead of the front will result in a wetter weather pattern, a change from the recent calmer days.
