A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck near the Tanimbar Islands in Maluku province, Indonesia, on Tuesday morning. According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), the earthquake's epicenter was located approximately 183 kilometers northwest of the islands, at a depth of 185 kilometers. Fortunately, no tsunami warning was issued following the quake. Local officials have reported no significant damage or injuries as a result of the seismic event.
