Winter storm watch in effect Friday to Saturday
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for a large portion of Oklahoma and North Texas, starting Friday afternoon and continuing through late Saturday night. The Duncan Banner reports that heavy mixed precipitation is expected, potentially leading to significant snow accumulations of 4 inches or more. In addition to the snow, a glaze of ice, up to two-tenths of an inch thick, is possible across southern Oklahoma and northern Texas.
