On March 3, 2026, Florida residents can enjoy a unique celestial event: a total lunar eclipse coinciding with the Full Moon, traditionally known as the Worm Moon. The eclipse will begin at 3:44 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) and reach its peak, or totality, at 6:33 a.m. ET, just before sunrise, scheduled for 6:43 a.m. ET. During this phase, the Moon will be completely immersed in the Earth's umbra, acquiring a reddish or orange hue due to the refraction of sunlight in the Earth's atmosphere, a phenomenon known as 'Blood Moon'.
