Storms moving eastward across eastern US regions
Thursday will see storms moving eastward, impacting regions from the Northeast down the East Coast, through the Appalachians, Southeast, and even into southern Texas. While many areas are expected to experience rainfall, generally dry conditions will mitigate the risk of widespread flash flooding. However, isolated flooding incidents remain a possibility in southern New England, New York City, and the southern Appalachians. Florida is particularly at risk for damaging wind gusts and daily storm activity.
