Colder, unsettled weather pattern may bring early snow
A colder, more unsettled weather pattern is predicted to descend upon North Carolina between November 29 and December 5, potentially bringing early-season snow to the state. According to the NOAA’s Climate Prediction Center, below-normal temperatures are anticipated across North Carolina, impacting major cities such as Charlotte and Raleigh, as well as regions including the Piedmont and Foothills. Higher elevations, particularly around Boone, Asheville, and the Great Smoky Mountains, are expected to experience overnight lows below freezing, significantly increasing the likelihood of snow with each incoming weather disturbance.
