Rain is moving into the Northwest as smoke lingers over the region. Upper-level energy from the Pacific Ocean will bring rain to the Northwest and Northern Rockies from Sunday through Tuesday. Wildfire smoke continues to affect the area, leading to Air Quality Alerts in parts of the Northwest and Northern Rockies. The cooler, wetter conditions may help reduce fire concerns but could also mean damp weather will persist into the middle of the week.
