Wind Advisory Issued for Carson City Area Amid Gusty Conditions
• A Wind Advisory is in effect for Carson City, Carson Valley, Reno, Lake Tahoe Basin, and Mono County until 7 p.m. Tuesday.
• Wind gusts are expected to reach 35-50 mph, with up to 65 mph in wind-prone areas; Lake Tahoe may see 2-5 foot waves.
• The region is also experiencing a weak atmospheric river event, but minimal rainfall is expected.

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the western Nevada Sierra Front, including Carson City, Carson Valley, and Reno, as well as the Lake Tahoe Basin and Mono County, effective until 7 p.m. Tuesday.
