The remnants of Typhoon Halong have brought catastrophic flooding and hurricane-force winds to western Alaska, particularly impacting the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta region. Communities such as Bethel, Kipnuk, and Kwigillingok have sustained significant damage, leading to the displacement of numerous families. Emergency services have rescued over 30 individuals, with at least three people still missing as floodwaters continue to rise under a Coastal Flood Warning.
