Scattered storms off the southwestern coast of Mexico are being closely monitored for potential intensification. An elongated low-pressure trough is currently producing scattered showers and thunderstorms in the region. The National Hurricane Center indicates that environmental conditions could support gradual development, and a tropical depression may form by the middle to end of the week. The system is expected to move west-northwest at approximately 10 to 15 mph across the central eastern Pacific Ocean.
