Thanksgiving Liftoff: Soyuz MS-28 Heads To The ISS

A three-member crew, including NASA astronaut Chris Williams, is set to launch to the ISS on Thanksgiving morning via Russia’s Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft.
The mission will expand the ISS crew to ten, with current members preparing new quarters and equipment for the new arrivals.
Williams will support research on deep-space readiness, fuel efficiency, semiconductor growth, and safer re-entry procedures during his eight-month mission.
Crew launch to ISS on Thanksgiving morning
A three-member crew is poised for a Thanksgiving morning launch to the International Space Station (ISS) aboard Russia’s Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft. NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergei Mikaev and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov are scheduled to reach the station after completing two Earth orbits, expanding the onboard crew to ten members.
