The Buenos Aires Grain Exchange estimates Argentina will produce 48.5 million metric tons of soybeans for the 2025/2026 season, thanks to the recent rainfall.

Rain brings relief to Argentina's soybean crops
Recent rainfall in central and northern Argentina has provided significant relief to soybean crops, according to the Buenos Aires Grain Exchange. The improved water conditions have resulted in 66% of the soybean plantation area now having optimal to adequate moisture levels, a 10% increase from the previous week. This is crucial for Argentina, a leading exporter of soybean oil and meal, as the country has been facing challenges from higher-than-normal temperatures and previous low rainfall.
