A devastating avalanche in the Mont Blanc massif in northern Italy has resulted in the deaths of two skiers and injuries to another, marking a tragic event in the popular freeride area of Couloir Vesses in Courmayeur. The Italian Alpine Rescue mobilized a significant rescue operation, deploying fifteen rescuers, canine units, and helicopters to the scene.
