A powerful storm has struck northwest Iceland, leading to hazardous conditions and forcing hundreds into emergency shelters. Temporary relief centers in Blönduós and Reykjaskóli in Hrútafjörður are housing approximately 320 individuals, with an additional 100 to 200 finding alternative accommodations.
