Record-breaking temperatures soar across the Western US
The western United States recently endured a historic heat wave, with temperatures soaring 20 to 30 degrees above normal across many regions. Denver broke its record for the hottest March day for three consecutive days, and four locations reached 112°F (44°C), surpassing the previous March high. Aspen recorded a high of 75°F (24°C), significantly above its average.
