Heavier snow accumulations north of Toronto, Montreal, and parts of Michigan could lead to dangerous driving.
Snow, slush, and disruptions expected Saturday-Tuesday
Travel could turn tricky from Saturday through early Tuesday as snow coats roads with slush and creates localized disruptions, especially overnight and during early commutes. The Midwest and Northeast will face their first widespread wintry travel event of the season, with slippery, untreated roads and sudden drops in visibility from snow squalls. Heavier accumulations north of Toronto, Montreal, and parts of Michigan may cause hazardous driving, while lake-effect snow could briefly snarl highways and delay flights across the Great Lakes region.
