Cyclone Ditwah has tragically claimed the lives of 638 people in Sri Lanka, according to the Disaster Management Center (DMC). The DMC also reports that 191 individuals remain missing following the devastating storm. The Kandy district has been particularly hard-hit, accounting for the highest number of fatalities, with a total of 234 lives lost.
