Supercell storm spawns deadly tornadoes in Indiana
On March 10, 2026, Northwest Indiana was struck by a series of deadly tornadoes spawned by a supercell thunderstorm. The storm, which originated in central Illinois, caused significant damage in Newton and Jasper counties, particularly in Lake Village and Wheatfield, Indiana. The National Weather Service confirmed at least four tornadoes. Tragically, two individuals, Edward and Arlene Kozlowski, lost their lives due to blunt force trauma sustained during the storm.
