Tropical wave may become tropical depression
A tropical wave southwest of Mexico is producing scattered showers and thunderstorms. The National Hurricane Center suggests environmental conditions might allow this system to develop into a tropical depression by the middle of next week. The projected path is west-southwest initially, turning westward at about 10 mph.
