Tropical Depression Sonia has strengthened into Tropical Storm Sonia in the Pacific Ocean. As of the latest updates, the storm is located southwest of Baja California. Sonia is currently moving west at approximately 9 mph (15 km/h). The storm's maximum sustained winds are around 40 mph (65 km/h), with gusts reaching higher speeds. Tropical-storm-force winds extend up to 60 miles (95 km) from the center of the storm.
